Both treks reach iconic Himalayan settings, but they differ in altitude profile, duration, access logistics and the kind of mountain landscape experienced each day.

Everest Base Camp

EBC usually needs more days, reaches a higher sleeping profile and depends on Lukla access. It suits travelers prioritizing the Khumbu, Sherpa settlements, Everest history and a longer high-altitude progression.

Annapurna Base Camp

ABC is generally a shorter journey with road access closer to the trail. It moves through varied vegetation and villages into the Annapurna Sanctuary. Stone steps, daily ascent and weather still require preparation.

Choose by constraints

Compare available days, previous walking experience, comfort at altitude, flight-risk tolerance, season and recovery time. Do not choose only from the highest point or the shortest advertised schedule.

Decision checklist

  • Available days include buffers.
  • Daily walking and elevation profiles are compared.
  • Access and delay risk fit your flights.
  • Medical and insurance needs match the chosen trek.

Turn your shortlist into a written quote

Compare the daily itinerary and accommodation basis before comparing totals. Ask for a cost breakdown covering transport, rooms, meals, permits, guiding and optional extras, with exclusions shown separately.

  • Tell us your preferred month, group size, walking experience and room preference.
  • Ask which seasonal conditions could change the route, journey time or accommodation choice.
  • Confirm supplier holds and their expiry before accepting. A published departure date is not a reserved room or seat.
  • Read the deposit, balance deadline and cancellation terms before paying. Allow time for supplier and permit checks; the team will confirm the booking timeline for your route.
